Episode 5 was very beautuful! It met all my expectations and much more. The arrival of Murtagh will change this season with respect to Diana Gabaldon's novel but that's great! We are honestly seeing an excellent adaptation of Drums of Autumn! I also want to see more of Jamie's character this season. Being able to see Lord John Gray and William with Jamie will be beautiful, surely this will be an unforgettable episode this season. Please, don't make us wait so long fot Jamie's meeting with Brianna!

Blood of my Blood is a direct relations to the marriage vows however William is not part of those vows, So I'm interested in how they are going with this topic. The link should be something between Claire and Jamie blood bond. The episode could end with them repeating there vows as they did in the book when Jamie confessed his guilt over having William and the fact she's not Williams mother. In the book Claire said she will stay with him just as long has he continues to love her she will accept William b/c he's apart of Jamie & Bree. In the book Jamie carries guilty over William especially when he reunites with Claire. This was a nice part of the book when they repeat their marriage vows as a continuation of there life together.

I've read the comments that we all make and in the majority I realize that we are faithfull readers of Diana Gabaldon's novels, but we must remember that the television series is an adaptation of the novels and things don't happen the same. For example Jamie never had so many confrontations with Native Americans. The Natives and the Frasers get along very well. The incident that appears in this video, where William is threatened by the indians doesn't happen in the novel. Jamie & William go hunting and fishing and Jamie appreciates this time to approach his son and comfort him for the death of his foster mother (a beautiful scene I must say, very touching). In the novel it's William & Ian who have a very funny incident! William is a spoiled child because he's been raised as a noble aristocrat. He doesn't know Jamie is his father. Brianna knows that Jamie is her father and although she accepts it, her love is for Frank Randal. In the following novels, when she meets Jamie more, she begins to love him as her true dad.

I remember this in the book. This is going to be hard on Claire and John. We might not like Willie either b/c he is his mother's son and all do recognize he looks like Jamie but is nothing like him in personality. Claire has empathy for Willie b/c he loses 2 mothers & in some form she see Bree however she notices as well the children different. Claire hurt with William in regards to her missing Bree and more the fact that Jamie will never have the bond with Bree in which sees Jamie have with William. This hurts her b/c she a mother b/c she raised Bree. It's not Williams fault but he's not easy to have around as a 12 year old and Jamie notes this as well. John light fire to the flame as well and Claire does her best to be civilized. John will leave the Ridge with knowledge Claire is one very unique women and understands why Jamie will only love her. Hence John jealously of Claire. Jamie's devotion and Claire's ability to understand Jamie. John loves Jamie, but Jamie loves Claire. John has William & stabs Claire with this knowledge. John believe Claire has no children & his jealously over Claire is known and Claire gives it right back. She can play the game too. Poor William will never be like Jamie. He has to live with this for the rest of his life. There's only one Jamie. Again it's not his fault. John nor Isabel know Jamie intimately enough to recognize any of Jamie traits only Jamie and Claire do. They know Geneva traits. Brianna is the only child who was raised by a real parent who "knows" her father which is why she is MOSTLY take after Jamie even with Frank raising her. William and Bree have the same father but different upbringings with different mothers. Jamie's physic bond with anything connected to Brianna already establish in the TV show. This means somethings directly connected to Claire & the books have explore more in this but hasn't explain why Jamie can connect with Claire in this matter.

Si jamais Jamie et Claire quittent cette série l'émission perdra énormément d'auditeurs. Ce sont les piliers de cette magnifique série. Je n, 'ai d'ailleurs jamais compris comment il se fait que dès le début Claire n'aie jamais fait le lien entre son époux et Black Jack Randall. Peut-être que de les retrouver dans un lieu plus lointain serait une bonne idée un peu comme Murtagh? 💌🐻🍁🍀
