I couldn’t agree more with you about Revlon. I’ve been using it for years also I’m at least 60% gray at 63 years old so I’m using the light ash brown because I’ve gone from a very blonde blonde grow out and I do have a lot of damage on my ends thanks for your tips and advice, I’m glad I found your page. You explain the base color very well. I didn’t know that after all this time these years of using it. So if my ends look greenish I'll go with the 40 ash brown and that one a try. you explain the base color very well. ive lightened my hair to blonde (as you can see in my profile picture) and i was thinking about going brown using this color but i cant tell if it would be more black or brown on a blonde base

Your hair is beautiful you don’t even need to color it. You have no grays❣️🙌🏽 It definitely has a violet base but as long as your blonde highlights aren’t in the yellow range, and since they’re more gold you’ll be fine. And especially since you’re only coloring your roots it’ll come out nice. I just used it on my roots to cover my grays and it’s a good product for gray coverage. The little conditioner package is not really sufficient for good conditioning I just use a good conditioner from my home supply. Your hair came out perfect 🙌🏽 it’s gorgeous ❣️

I get so many compliments with this color and light ash. I should mix both to see if it give highlights. I found tgis color for $1 because it was about to expire.

I’ve used this color also! It’s summer, I live on a barrier island, might do the lighter color. I like the color wheel you popped up in the video, it gave me a better understanding of color levels. Another great video!👍👍👍

Is there a particular Schwarzkopf shade that you think is equivalent to this one? This is the exact shade I've been using for years and I love it. I've been really wanting to try the Schwarzopf line, but the only ash shade I can find is dark ash. I'm worried that might be too dark? TIA!
