I love the west loop, I sort of grew up there. My great grandparents had a place at Ada and Grand, They are the Pastorellis, and Pastorelli foods is still at Sangoman and Randolph. My other grand father was a produce distributor, he had a building at Grand and Ogden, after High school I worked at the store and would go pick up eggs, milk and cheese in the Fulton Market. Also I used to go to many parties there in the late 90's - early 2000's. So many memories there. Crazy how much it has changed.

Would love this to turn into a series for other neighborhoods like River North, Old Town, Lincoln Park, Wicker Park, etc!

I remember the west Loop in the 70's Like Wicker Park you only went to the west loop for a Prostitute. Now my Dad landed in the west loop in the 50 cause he came from the south and was looking for work and was broke, so the west loop had a lot of flop housing, which we call homeless shelters. So Yes the west loop and Wicker park has come a long way since those day

What kind of age group do you typically find in the West loop? Is it 20s and 30s or are there just as many people in their 40s and 50s?
