First way of making friends, besides the work place, is to enter a club (local sports club, music club, choir, voluntary fire brigade, marksman confraternity, carnival association, etc.).
Meeting people with the same interests, brings people toogether and Germans like to be part of a club.

Finding employment in Munich can be quite challenging, especially for outsiders. The job market tends to favor those already residing in the city, making it tough for newcomers to break in. I've been trying for quite a while now.

I moved a month ago. I agree 100%. I don’t see myself leaving Germany anytime soon

Expat who has lived here for 5 years. Yes, agree with positives. But, it's expensive and it's very hard to find housing. Best to secure a job before you leave you leave your home.

It used to be nice City till around 2010. Nowedays It's overcrowded, family unfriendly, too expensive, imposible to find a flat. Also the salaries are average.

Housing is a huge problem in Munich. Look for somewhere else guys.
