The Sitges Carnival, one of the 10 best Carnivals in the world. This is the most massive party on the city's calendar of events, which begins on Fat Thursday and ends on Ash Wednesday. The two most participatory days will be Sunday and Tuesday with the children's parades and that of adults who will once again parade through the streets of the city with a total of 43 floats and more than 2,200 participants.The Sitges Carnival has been celebrated continuously since 1976, in a format close to what we know today. However, the oldest document referring to the celebration is from the 15th century, and it can be verified that the city of Garraf has celebrated the Carnival uninterruptedly for more than 100 years, either on the street, inside the doors of the entities or hidden under another name during the Civil War, when it was almost anecdotal.
