Taking Ownership & Creating Videos Again

The last little while, I've taken time away from social media to pursue discipleship and sanctification, during which time I have been pretty grieved with the lack of prayerfulness I have brought to ministry and how it's negatively effected content I've produced, some things I have said, and how I've said it. I feel as though I need to apologize corporately for being unnecessarily abrasive in some videos, posts, and comment threads, where I have simply gotten in my flesh and acted outside of godly wisdom.

While I don't disagree with things I have said (that I can remember), I have said things that I shouldn't have, and the spirit behind them was not always pure or with others best interest at heart. I feel this could have been a stumbling block for people watching my content, because I haven't been the best example of closeness with Jesus or Christian character in the public sphere. For this, I apologize, and to anyone whom it's impacted negatively, I'm sorry for my behavior and lack of wisdom. I'm looking forward to making content again, feeling grace to do so, and hope to be more of a blessing than I have been in times past.

This feels like sitting on a park bench with a close friend sharing his heart. The intimacy we have as the body of Christ is never clearer than when someone is confessing and receiving times of refreshing as a result. (Acts 3:19-21, James 5:16) The boldness in the midst of vulnerability when confessing actually gives encouragement to others to do the same. Thanks for the example here, reminding us to take stock of our own standing with the Lord & each other in these last days.

We all fall short! There's a reason why Christ calls us to repentance, He knows we are human and are in constant need of His grace. We will always need his grace. Your humble heart is a great example of Christ's humility, and that will draw people to Jesus. Praying for you brother!

I started watching this guy back when he posted his first YouTube video. I'm still amazed on the evidence of Christ in his life... inside and out. Transfiguration is there. Our church gets a bad rep....but watching this guy makes me so happy to be proud of the fellowship I attended.

I so appreciate you! I am a 60 year old grandma who recently remarried. I have gained 3 step adult children. The oldest is so deceived and crippled by crystals and the new age. I pray for her, she is such a loving person but is afraid to leave home without some rock in her pocket or something tucked under her arm. When I began watching your videos, it strengthened my intent on praying for her and gleaned from your knowledge on how to pray. Stand strong, my prayers are with you as well. Glad to see you back! It’s so much more important that you’re aware and being transparent i your journey, way more important than nailing it right out of the bag. Your walk is relatable and it shows it’s authentic. Good on you for checking yourself. I don’t think anyone meets the standard. The more we try, the more we realize how out of reach. I’ve noticed this with myself and my peers.

I can relate with your conviction about obedience when to create and when to not. I can identify with that also. It’s a slippery slope to do it and not get my pride wrapped up in it. Or I second guess myself and hold back.

Either way, your journey has inspired me to turn back to Christ. I’ve been saved for about 5 years now. I think it was your first video that helped tip me over the fence. So for whatever that’s worth. Keep going.
