They both are really good. I couldn't decide but at the end I choose the S23 Ultra because of the size, S-Pen, and the faster charging. With the pictures and videos you can't go wrong with both of them.

For me the best front camera that video is samsung. Pixel is dark than samsung.

This was awesome and exactly what I was looking for! I really hope you keep making these type of videos because it give a bit more in depth of how the Pixel performs in day time and night time. The other big YouTubers cover all of these but they seem to rush and only get very fews shots and videos. Where as you pretty much just record and take videos on both throughout the whole video! And I love this so much better than the other YouTubers!

Your S23 Ultra's ultrawide lense is extremely hazy, most likely due to some oil left on the surface. Mine is very clean and does perfect ultrawide shots without haziness. Some of the wide shots with S23 Ultra in this video were also hazy and the light flares are a clear indication for a lens that's not perfectly clean.

Interesting comparison. I mainly take pictures, but rarely film. I like practically all photos from the Samsung S23U better in the comparison. I also use an S23U and the possibilities with the different settings are huge.

I thought in some photos, the Pixel 8 Pro were slightly better but not by much. When it comes to video, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is better; Google Pixel 8 Pro has come a long way though! The Galaxy S23 Ultra is more of an all-round device. Whereas the Pixel 8 Pro is more like an iPhone in that it does photography and video very well, and has a few AI tricks. It is very much a phone - albeit the smartest. The Galaxy S23 Ultra can be likened to a Swiss Army Knife; DeX makes all the difference. You ought to test the Pro Video and Photo Modes to see what could be had.

Great video, but you should compare the exact same zoom levels so we can see which of them is better at each zoom and also to have an idea of how good they are when it comes to digital zoom. The Galaxy S23 Ultra now has an option to enable 2x lossless zoom btw.

I'm an S23 Ultra user, but I'm really impressed by the Pixel. I used to be a Pixel user and I just love how the Pixels always have the signature pixel look to their cameras.

Great comparison especially with the consistency of going from wide, standard, 2x & 3x and then 5x & 10x. Really gives a good sense of what these are capable of in low light.
I really hope Google can fix some of the video 'jitter' and that jarring zoom snap.

Thanks for the comparison; I personally think It shouldn’t really be about whats looks better, rather whats more accurate to what was seen. It seems the pixel has too much contrast but, I wasn’t there for the test.

great video as always i like the pixel better here it won this comparison, minor nitpick here, next time you compare the exact zoom levels between the devices outside of there optical ranges for example you do 3x on both and 5x on both and so on even though the pixel doesn’t have that lens . awesome job again
