Since I am also taking IB business I was thinking of making a fairly simple use-friendly accounting software that takes input from the user such as variable/fixed costs, interest, taxes, loan, etc and calculates the values such as Net profit, gross profit margin. I was also thinking of making it so that it can produce various charts and graphs, as well being able to make simple cash-flow forecast. It's aim will be to replace the need for an accountant in a small firm. Would you consider it a good idea?
