A site survey of the haunted hill. Bredon Hill ( 299 Metres high ) is located in The Vale of Evesham, Worcestershire, England. It has seen human habitation throughout its long history and has a rich Paranormal provenance. It has two Iron Age Hill Forts upon its summit : Conderton Camp is the oldest, and smaller, and lies on the southeast side of the summit. The larger Kemerton Camp Hill Fort, which occupies the highest ground of the hill, lies to the northern side, dating from the middle Iron Age. Both were abandoned in the 1st Century AD. The summit of Bredon Hill is also known as Elmley Castle. As well as the Celtic population, Bredon Hill has also been home to Romans, Danes and Saxons. Upon the summit also lies St Katherine's Well and the remains of a Medieval Chapel.

Bredon Hill has many hauntings, from all ages of occupation, but the most famous of all are The Black Dog ( a giant Hell Hound - similar to the infamous Black Dog of Meon Hill, in Warwickshire, only 21 miles away ). And the Ghostly Warriors of an ancient battlefield. During the 1st Century AD a massive battle was fought on Bredon Hill, the battle of Kemerton Camp Hill Fort. Very little is known of the battle itself - but the archaeology suggests a major conflict. Soon after, the entire hill was abandoned.

It is the Ghosts of these ancient warriors, slaughtered in the fierce Iron Age battle who haunt all over Bredon Hill. So far in the 21st Century there have been no reported sightings.
