I was wanting to put four NVX VCW122 series subs in a box. It was going to be tuned to 35hz. If its at 1.25k watts per sub, It's not going to hurt the windows is it? The front glass already has a crack in it from when we got it off the showroom floor. It's a 01' Chevy Silverado with a 2-4" ish lowering kit on 22" Helo rims. The rims were color matched to the rare "SunSet" red/orange color. This isnt going to destroy the truck is it? Lol. I'm just now starting to get into bigger SPL builds. I just wanna make sure it's OK before I build this behemoth. I'll be turning 16 here soon and that means the keys are mine. We have already done an engine swap, and when we did we put a beefier alternator on it because the old one was going bad anyways. It came stock with a 4.8L V8, and we upped it to a 5.4L. Not really sure about the alternator though. I will also be redoing the door speaker panels because I will take the rear speakers out of the doors and put them up at the front. I will also be upgrading them to higher-end mid bass and tweeters with a 300watt amplifier. If I were to do this on this truck, would it be ok? I will be spending roughly $1800 on this build. I don't want to throw $1800 dollars down the drain. I want the best sound and heaviest bass. And I'm willing to pay for it! :)
