this song.. i've loved it so long. i always come back to it. it always reminds me of times long gone, people long gone, and how just the memory of things that are long gone can bring on overwhelmingly strong feelings, and how some music is so reliable at triggering those sort of powerful memories.

The best feelings, derivatives of Happiness and Pity. Pity gets such a bad wrap, but without it we would be without Hope, Love, Caring and Empathy to say the least. Music has always been made to bring out derivative feelings because we associate ourselves with the music. If people don't associate themselves with what they're hearing they don't get anything from it, so they have a ready-made truth prepared for themselves to justify why they don't (can't) understand what is in front of them.
