I grew up watching Smackdown from 2002 to 2011. Back then, John Cena was my favorite wrestler because he would always come back stronger. It wasn't until a few years ago when I realized how much of a better wrestler Booker T was. Booker T did fantastic in the WCW and NJPW. It was just WWE who made Booker jobbed hard. Booker T should've won Wrestlemania against HHH.

John cena does have a limited move set but he can sell super great and knows how to put on a good match.

I don’t hear too many bad stories about cena from people that ACTUALLY worked matches with him. They all say the same thing.... he had a good attitude, he wanted to learn, and he knew when a partner in the dance of pro wrestling was more skilled and he let them lead. That’s all you can ask for.

This goes to show that unless you worked with the guy personally in the business in some form or fashion. No fan can truly say cena is the worst character wise or not. Shawn Michaels praises him, Ric Flair loves the guy. Iv seen so many old time vets praise Cena that really we as fans can only see what goes on in the program and the squared circle. But hating on him because of his character or limited move set is a little uncalled for in my opinion. The guy does what wwe creative wants him to do and he did carry the business for a solid decade. Iconic feuds, matches, and is responsible for more than half of the most iconic moments in this current PG Era. The guys work within the business simply can’t be denied no matter how much you hate him. I say the real people who have a right to say whether cena sucks or not is the people who work with him personally.

Moral of the story is simplify and master that's all simple and to the point that's why people gush over moves and moves but I rather a guy do 20 moves and give a good match then a guy do 100 and simply not take me on a ride or tell a story and John to his credit had a bunch of.moves but he wasn't going to blow all of it in one match thats the thing people don't get
