I recently had a similar scan in France that also involved a radioactive tracer being injected. It was to look for any possible cancer within my bones after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. However, I was allowed out of the hospital after the injection and was free to wander around town and have a coffee at a nearby cafe with my wife for about two hours before returning for the scan. A bit odd, I thought.

I had a Pet Scan in California last month. After being injected with the tracer, I only sat for fifteen minutes before being tested> Something seems odd?
