The entire Department of Justice should be closed and every one of its agencies terminated. Justice belongs to the Judicial branch, not the Executive, and even then should be overwhelmingly the concern of the individual states, not the DC regime.

My family are mennonites and during the world wars we saw the death of our native language while also seeing many try to leave the united states for mexico. The book "Pennsylvania Mennonites in Mexico: A History of Four Lancaster County Mennonite Famiilies' Pilgrimage to Mexico During World War II 1942-1946" is about my families anti-war protest. It's very much true the the united states was very suspicious of those who spoke german.

Americans like to think they have a smaller government compared to “socialist” governments that provide infrastructure, health care and education for their citizens. This belief is only possible by ignoring that military spending is highest in the world and equal to the next nine countries combined.
Legislation like those responsible for rounding up or surveiling German or Japanese people during the wars also goes a long way to explaining the frenzied and performative jingoism for which Americans are known. You have to scream your allegiance from the rooftops while hoisting your flag just to prove you and your children aren’t the enemy.

The first thing that comes to mind to me, is preparing laws to shut down any speech against a new potential draft of which will now include drafting young girls into the military. The government has been working on changing the laws in past years to include drafting women.
