I was talking to my wife, she buys into most of the bs, she says i see the world as too black and white. But then, over the years, i've dropped comments and ideas and i realized she is the one who sees the world in black and whites but though the lens of a fantasy. I read "Will of the Many" by James Islington, and a rough quote in it goes "no human made institution can withstand human nature for long. eventually corruption will win out. the world is not, and will never be fair." when i said that she flipped her lid. she disagreed so hard. So i asked her, "if you started a business or charity you would have good intentions and do the right thing right?" to which she said "yes", i followed up with "if you leave, retire, or die, do you have any guarantee the person who replaces you will 100% do the exact things you would have done? can you guarantee they wont 'higher a friend' who may not be qualified?" she said "no". So i tried to point out that yes, indeed, corruption always wins out eventually. She immediately snapped back to "no, i don't believe that.". i was left kinda floored. after a while she ended up saying this "I believe you have to fight to make things fair and just." But after some probing i discovered she thinks that there will be an end to the fight, that one day you will win. I think that's the fundamental difference between the "well intentioned" leftist and people on the right. The leftists think that one day human nature can be beat, i think thats the biggest fantasy land idea i've ever heard.

Vee's Tweet was insanely based, and the best part is that it doesn't just apply to what he said. You can apply it to a majority of other things (Like Masculinity which you touched upon later in the video). Basically, why give up a "Bad trait" if there is nothing to gain? At giving up a trait, one is losing apart of themself, yet these are the people that want to push "Identity" politics all while creating the most identity confused generation of the modern day.
