Electrification and Flexibility

Electrification and flexibility are two terms which often come up in discussions about the energy transition. But what do these terms mean? In this video, we delve into what it means to 'electrify' sectors which have previously been reliant on fossil fuels, such as transport, and the system flexibility which these transformations enable. How can we balance supply and demand in a system based on variable renewable sources? What is demand response? What is the role of the grid? And what additional role do electric vehicles play? Find the answers to these questions and more in this video, 'Electrification and Flexibility'.

The Renewables Grid Initiative is a unique collaboration of NGOs and TSOs from across Europe engaging in an ‘energy transition ecosystem-of-actors’. We promote fair, transparent, sustainable grid development to enable the growth of renewables to achieve full decarbonisation in line with the Paris Agreement.

No they are not.We will need 4 times the electricity generation when fossil is gone. All the stylus will not exist. Batteries will be £30 trillion in uk. Where is the money from and how much will private providers be charging us. Same with wind farms. Elec will cost a fortune and there will be no cheap gas by then it will be too late.
