A sled that runs is a sled for fun. They are virtually indestructible. Just maintenance. I know I put at least a couple 1000hrs on my uncles back in the late 70's early 80's. Like from the age of 9 until 14 maybe. All winter it seemed like. I'd fill it up in the morning and by noon or lunch I was on Reserve. I never stopped, plus I would pull my friend on a tractor tube or hard sled. He still has it.
