They think it's so cool that they're 12900k is being water cooled. They don't know that it thermal throttles.

They really screwed the design, thinking a 120 aio is enought for a 12900k.

I like the case. Also, most of these high tier computers are overpriced regardless what company you are looking at. Currently Alienware is having a Summer Sale.

You can get a Alienware R13 for $1, 199.99 with a I7 12700K, and a AMD 6700 XT

With the components you get on that particular Alienware you can not build it yourself for that price, nor does anyone else have a better deal.

Dell / Alienware sometimes offer really good deals that are actually worth going for. If you are only always looking at the highest end of the spectrum. - Yeah.. You are going to pay premiums. But you can be satisfied with AMD 6700XT, and won't have to pay hundreds or thousands of extra dollars to get it.

I put a tiny spacer between the front panel of the pc with the lights by 3d printing, and it worked well and made it overheat less until it broke

The price tag might be scary but Dell is actually having sales all the time this year. I got mine (i9/3080/32GB Ram) for less than $1500, which I actually think is a fair deal.

Just Paid $1800 for an R13 i9-12900F, 3080 10GB, 32GB DDR5 ram, 1TB M.2. When they go on clearance is the only time to buy them.

That price is pretty average for pre-builts of similar specs, but most other pre-builts won't have as of a cool case like that. Everyone else is using boxy cases that all look the same. You can't tell the difference between them most of the time unless you get closer to the computer to see who made it. But the Alienware is made so that you can tell that it is a Alienware from far away. The effort to look different is nice to see in a market that is flooded with boxy cases that all generally look the same.
