DVA is sharing stories of some of the Australians who served their country in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
Firsthand: Veteran Stories of War delves into living histories gathered by DVA historians to share the unique stories of Australian service, and in this edition we hear from Afghanistan veteran Chris May about his experiences and the impact of his service on his family. Chris returned from Afghanistan wounded, following an IED explosion on his second deployment.
