Installing CushCore, Tricks That Work

#downhill Cushcore is a necessary tool for Enduro and downhill. It can be difficult the first time you try and install it. I’ve learned a few tricks over the years. You must seat the tire beed in all the way around to have enough room for the tire to go on, the cushcore tools are not tire leavers they will break they are only for pushing in the bead. I like to use two brand new tire lovers to finish off the install.  soapy water is your friend and it’s helpful to have a rubber trashcan to work on.

best to fill tire wit hair before adding sealant to test for leaks, then just put sealant through valve less mess.

Any reason your pour sealant at that point and not through the valve?

Thanks for the video but you don’t need a heat gun or hair dryer. There is a better way of installing them, plenty of videos out there.
But again, appreciate your video. Different techniques for different folks 😎
