The "Batman Effect" refers to a psychological phenomenon observed in children where they are more focused, determined, and perform better at tasks when they perceive themselves to be taking on the role of a fictional character or superhero like Batman, Dora the Explorer, or Bob the Builder, as compared to when they acted as themselves or when they were simply asked to "work hard."
