Sea lion Chasing King Penguins

While filming Gentoo penguins on the beach, I witnessed a sea lion run up on the beach and chase down its breakfast. As the seal gains on the King penguins, something unexpected happens. Watch to find out.

It's less funny when you know how scared they are. Walking normally would be to slow and they're so terrified, that they desperateley run like in video. It's basically like swimming on land LOL ...

I swear that’s the same sea lion I saw at volunteer point in November 22! The penguins fish on that side, their nests are inland but there is a quiet lagoon about half a mile away inland they all play and swim about in peace. It’s such a gorgeous place

Dang, that sea lion probably has no issues catching penguins, hes got some wheels on em. All those penguins ran for the human lol. Good call.
