I had a problem with my SkyRC iMax b6 charger not recognizing one of the cells in my Zippy Flightmax 4s LiPo battery during balance charging mode. I show you how I fixed the problem.

Works even on Imax B6AC clone. Even without ballance plug it still shows 5SER on my 6S lipo. Still put it on charge for like two minutes and then with ballance plug in it shows 6SER! Thanks for the video!

I have a turnigy charger. Very similar to yours. I have 3 batteries that all show only 3 cells. I have a battery meter function on the charger that confirms this. 0 volts. So I have a problem with the charger. Any ideas in this case? No a pin doesn't appear to be bent. Thank you

I have a Cell Match Error, I have the same charger v2. When I followed your instructions I just get Cell Voltage Error when trying to charge as oppose to balance charge. Also, I do not get the extra message that says there are only 3 cells not 4. Is the battery fubar? It was fine but I ran it down to about 9.5v from 11.1?

with the regular charging mode my 6s lipo still shows up as 5s. Any ideas?

I have one like this and everything works except, charge in balance mode and balance battery . Work couple seconds and then on the screen at mah shows 0 and stay like this hours . In simple mode charge in series reach's at the end, but in balance mode charge or balance battery do nothing . You tasted yours it's ok ? Thanks

Haven't watched the full video yet, but my lipo was fine until one day. They're not cheap batteries, so I hope it isn't stuffed.

next time when you do this click the 3rd button over and see how the cells look for voltage per cell. if you have one cell way lower then the rest you have a dead sell or possible dead cell. sometimes a good balance charge can fix the cell sometimes not.

I experienced this kind of problem my 4s lipo, however i did different method to get it back into 4ser.the problem is the other two cells arent going up charged from 3.7 volts it stucked in 4.11 and 4.6 and the bad thing is that two cells went down rate..can help you me on this?
