It is actually said to be kind of sexist. Plus my mom has that "Karen haircut" but she's the kindest person I've met, plus I don't even have any friends so she'll count as a friend, I know it sounds cheesy but at least I'm more mature than calling your own mother a Karen.

My friend's mother was named Karen, and unfortunately she had been (a little bit) bullied and excessively joked about for her name being associated with "annoying white woman" To an extent she had to change her name when she grew older

I had a teacher who’s first name was Karen. One day we saw this lady who was arguing with the management and called her a Karen. Our teacher looked at us and told us:
