NSUI urges Karnataka Governor to postpone KCET.

Members of the National Students Union of India (NSUI) Karnataka held a protest outside Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru urging Governor Vajubhai Vala to direct the government to postpone Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) scheduled to be held on July 30, 31.

"The government's decision to conduct the entrance exam despite widespread protests and knowing that the students' lives are at danger due to the ongoing pandemic situation is condemned. This will lead to the students and their families experiencing greater anxiety and trauma in these times," Manjunatha KS, State NSUI president said.

We are just sitting at home and telling postpone kcet...but I think we should really thank these people who are protesting for us....such people give us hope that good people still exist...I surely don't understand why is this kcet getting more important than students safety...let's round it of like 2lakh students are writing kcet ...and I heard that there are 498 centres ..so if i simply calculate there are 400 students in each centre ... i dont know what kind of safety measure is this...i stay near malathahalli lake...and i have got centre near whitefield ....to be honest i am really mad at the person who took this decision
