As a kid we ask random questions and our parents really tried to save us from the answers we really seek. The answers sometimes were cold and twisted but it's the truth and the truth can be ugly. Which makes way for a tarnished soul..the darkness.

The opening lines... I literally did this when I was a preteen in the 90s.... I would complain about being stuck in a yucky human body.
I was not a particularly popular kid...

In any case, this is just a wonderful track. I _think_ it's my favorite, but honestly I'm malleable and that will change as I listen to the album in the coming years.

Putting closed captions on adds to the aesthetic. It's the exact same text obviously, but it seems to create more distance between the music and the listener. Like a dissociative element that meshes well with the meaning of the song.

Really enjoyed it. Also, in the 90s the tabloids printed and had people cutting out a big blue dot and keeping it in their purse promising to bring them a winning lotto ticket. I was a kid but this brought it back. Even our parents were dreamers back then. This song will be HUGE! Good work.
