Silly list. Jaws, Nazare left out, Wiamea Bay mentioned twice but not next to each other. Yes Pipeline is big and scary, but Wiamea is terrifying. More deaths in Pipeline because it is surfed more often. What about Three Tables Oahu, between Wiamea and Pipe, that place is so narly that most won't surf it and for good reason. Shipstern Bluff needs to be higher on the list, those waves defy the laws of nature.

Well it makes me feel better that the Pipeline where I had my NDE at 8-10’ is no. 1.

Some other spots seem more terrifying but I’ve only surfed Waimea shore break and the bay on gentle days.
