2025 Hobonichi Haul and Unboxing - All the PLANNERS, Hons, Cousin, A6, Weeks and More!

Wheeee!! It's that time of year....My BIGGEST and MOST EXCITING Haul of the year! My 2025 Hobonichi order did not disappoint. I got all the things this year. I'm so excited to share my 2025 Hobonichi haul and unboxing with you. Sit back and relax because this is another long one.

There’s something about Hobonichi this year, I think they didn’t mix up their blind gift packs properly because I have seen so many videos of people getting 4/5 of the same notebook design in a row, which is actually (if every cover design was equally produced and randomized properly) more statistically improbable than getting a variety.

Really happy to see your picks for 2025! It's nice to see some love for the Ivory Slash🤍 and I liked hearing your reasoning behind it, as continuation of the Botanical HON series. I was surprised that the Makino botanical series didn't make an appearance in this September launch but maybe it's coming Spring. Thanks for sharing your haul :)

I also got the same ivory HON, in the A6. The slash is supposed to be like the slash when you write a date (like 9/13) so it makes sense it doesn't cover the whole book! It's just a symbol. Although tbh if they had the botanical one again I probably would've bought that one. 😅

I've got the A5 Ivory Slash HON for 2025 too! I'm not a fan of the navy one but I love the ivory one. I like the symbolism of the date slash for a planner cover too.

There's a quiet elegance to the ivory slash Hon. I saw where someone painted a vase with the bottom of the slash, then she painted flowers above the slash. I'm not that creative. I ordered the Crescent Moon Delivery hon in A6 and the Spy x Family hon in A5. I can't wait for my box to arrive tomorrow!

I can’t believe you got all five same surprises. They sure didn’t mix them up. I got the same one.

I got the ivory Hon A5. I put cover on cover on it and I will add some stickers or something under the cover. I also really liked the Platimum White and Lemon Water. But I chose the unsodo weeks, to mix up my patterns a bit.

I love your Slash but would not have picked it myself. I would have gotten the Crescent Moon if I was spending the bigger bucks. I got the Weeks Mega in Lemon Yellow and the Original in A6. I have a Chic Sparrow cover that will already fit the original and the clear cover will actually fit inside my Moterm for the Weeks Mega. I would like to see the comparison across books of the same size. This is my 2nd year with the Weeks but my first with the original.

I do agree with you about the Slash looking super chic! The ivory one a lot more than the navy, also. Personally, I don't think it's for me (if I were to get a HON, I'd definitely choose one of the busiest and most textured covers lol) but I'm always glad to see people getting that one :)

I have no issues with the slash design at all—just VERY SLIGHTLY annoyed to be using the navy on again for 2025. I’d wanted Ivory, but the site told me it was sold out. That was a problem. The system should have given us an error—it should not have conveyed information that wasn’t true. But it’s quite ok. Every time my cart got dumped I refilled it, but with one less thing. So I ordered like 8 things less than intended and this is not my year to order a Stappo! And in the end I was able to afford a Moterm A5+ and a Weeks cover, both of them in veg tanned leather.

I was disappointed there wasn’t a botanical either.
I like the slash okay but think it is a bit plain. I do love how nice it looks with the botanical Hon and think it was a great choice!
