I loved this game as a kid. But man was this game truly challenging. The soundtrack was just unforgettable and catchy at any given moment. I can still remember being too afraid to play through the ghost train stages. Bosses felt intimidating and scary. OOooh the memories!

I remember as a 7 year old spending every waking moment of that year to get all the secrets. Even with a strategy guide this game was hard to beat.

By the way, am I the only one who thought those purple/blue blobs shot out of King K Rool’s blunderbuss looked like a cluster of aliens heads? Glacius perhaps?

After sucking at this game when I was 4 and 5 years old, I recently revisited this game and completed it 102% 8 and 7 years later.

Fun fact, Klobber's Karnage was broken in older emulators. You can see how the player struggled to control the spinning barrels, when I could do that on console.
