Really great videos about numerical methods, entertainment before going to slepp :P
Are actually the demos available for download somewhere?

Hello,

Thank you so much for your videos.
I just needed to know that in the end you say that in FV we reconstruct the flux at the boundaries as a function of the averages of the solution. But on the other hand, the mathematical formulation shows we calculate the average at the cell centres ( i + 1/2) and (i-1/2) using the fluxes at the cell faces (i, i-1) and (i, i+1) respectively.

I can see that you drew in matlab the averages of every cell and then reconstructed the intercell fluxes (somehow) and then you show in the mathematical formulation we are taking a difference of (i+1/2) and (i-1/2) to find the flux at i and then again at the end you mention that we use the average of the solution to find the flux at the boundaries.

I am sure i am confused somewhere and would appreciate a lot if you can clear my misconception.

Thanks & Warm Regards
