little tip! you can use signs instead of fence doors as some golems can get stuck in the connection between the wall and the fence door, making the farm slower

FOR EVERYONE WATCHING & AVOMANCE:

Yes, the hit box for zombies to villagers has increased in 1.20.2 BUT it is not by that much. You can still build this farm (it’s my go to) and just tweak something VERY minor. When putting the singular slab down in the villager pen, instead of ONE slab, but another slab right behind it. Now you have two slabs. You will push the zombie into the pen trapping it onto the SECOND slab you put down, and then literally walk into the zombie minecart just a little bit so the zombie is on HALF of the first slab and HALF of the second slab

This setup doesn't work in 1.20 because zombie reach has been changed. The zombie can now harm the villagers. However you can use a pilliger instead of a zombie. If you capture two of them you can break their crossbows (let them shoot you until it breaks, takes about 15 min per pilliger). From then on you can build the farm exactly as it is in the totorial. I really like this farm design and don't want to build another so this the work around I found. Hope it helps

Mr. Avo, I know this was posted a month ago, not sure how I missed it, but after watching your Mud Farm tutorial, I took a look at this. As always, it's an AWESOME build, but I still like your 7x8 Iron Farm with the composter and villager trading. Great thing is, it still works in 1.19.2! Now THAT is an awesome build that can transcend many changes to the game!

You can add on to the farm by replicating the pods and water pushing thing on the other sides that are not being used

Thank you for such an awesome iron farm! I built it not too close and not too far from the mob farm build you made in another video.

Also, I set up a sort of simple chest > hopper > composter > hopper to a double chest to compost all the flowers the golems drop.

Absolutely brilliant super simple iron farm for MC! I love how easy this is to build. My base is near a desert, so I think I'll be using sandstone with some acacia or warped hyphae for highlights.

Awesome tutorial! Just built this in my hardcore world and it works great!

Side tip, if you build it during the day before any of the villagers have had the chance to sleep (fresh from a breeder, never used a bed before), you don't have to worry about Rogue golem spawns while disassembling your rails!

Another very well build and tutorial from the master! I would have made it Just the same. I also love the mud blocks. I would have made a sorter underneath it so the poppy's go into a composter and turned into bonemeal so the Iron is sorted also. Love your vids. Keep them coming! Excellent work Avo
