Mandalay Region, Burma -- April 2, 1942

Railroad Mandalay

Failure to hold Toungoo have resulted in the inevitable as the enemy is preparing to attack north, into the heart of Burma!

The Japanese now control the Burma road's southern terminus as well as the adjacent railroad, and thus have the tactical advantage of moving troops and supplies rapidly. Despite that, Chinese forces are to hold a front kust south of Mandalay while the British are evacuating in full to regroup in India.

The battle in the air remains equal, owing the support of the AVG, and RAF. Your primary objective is to scout the area for enemy activity, particularly Japanese railway supplies and troop movements.

A samll wing operating from Magwe will provide cover, although they have been crippled by the loss of radar equipment and may not respond in the immediate.
