I can't watch this or any of the previous highlights, there's no sense of context or what is happening in the clips.

You have a historic race over 20 stages of grueling riding across italy boil down to one individual time trial between two riders. How do you manage to distill the final battle for the title into 2 mins of completely random shots de-synced from the commentators summary? I've never been so unexcited to watch a stage highlight in my life because of what we've seen for the past 20 stages - I gave it a chance because its the last stage and everything's in place for an epic showdown but you've still managed to mess up a finale that writes itself. Bravo.

Please partner with a new video editor next year - this is not doing your race any favours.

What a relief! We're finally done with these "highlights"! Apparently the race was really exciting but I did not learn it through these awful videos. I hope it'll be better next year.

I've worked it out. They chop the film into pieces and drop the pieces into a mixing bowl. They mix them up and then stick them back together and call them highlights.

It was my first time following a grand tour and i've understanded everything but this detail

Well clearly nobody in the Tour read the comments FROM DAY ONE complaining about these highlights. They were brutal and the Tour missed an opportunity to build the brand given how close it all turned out to be! Great shame - really embarrassing.

Nothing to add to the [shocking] editing comments already mentioned but I've long thought that all tours, Grand or otherwise, should finish with a time trial. Had enough of watching the final stage stroll in the streets [a few sprinters aside]. Well done to TGH, despite all three majors being diluted to some degree, his name will be engraved there for all to see forever and a stage.
