Badenoch pushes Starmer on tax increases in Tory leader's second PMQs

Watch the full exchange between prime minister Keir Starmer and Conservative party leader Kemi Badenoch in Prime Minister’s Questions on Wednesday, 13 November.

Sir Keir was pressed by Badenoch on council tax, National Insurance and the impact of Labour's Budget, which was released earlier this month.

Appearing in her second PMQs, the Tory leader accused the Labour government of not sufficiently considering the impact of its Budget, particularly how impacted small businesses would be by the increase in employers' National Insurance.

Starmer hit back saying that he was 'fixing the mess that we were left' by the previous government.

Oh dear Badenoch is so so bad. She cant even shine at PMQs where she gets to ask the questions. She is heading down the same weird path that Liz Truss carved out. Reform need to be more ambitious and take advantage by being bolder, leading the debates and acting like an opposition rather than just accept their role as insignificant underdogs..
