Design
A new specially-built 4×4 light cross-country reconnaissance and utility vehicle.
Open-top vehicle, a tarpaulin was be fitted to the windshield, held in place by two folding tender bars over the cargo bay. Cargo bay comprised a rear seating bank, covered the rear wheels and two front bucket seats.
Independent suspensions but leaf-sprung. No doors, a flat radiator grille which covered the main headlights.
6 x 16 tires, a spare wheel and gas jerry can at the rear, trailer lights and blackout light system. Folding top bows to hold in place a waterproof canvas with plastic windows.
Exterior handles for manual extrication of muddy terrain. Military instrument panel with black faced oil pressure, ammeter, fuel level, water temperature and speedometer gauges. Differential and transfer case levers were at the right of the transmission lever.
