Underrated was the Korean footballer Jisung "Three Lungs" Park. Not only he often shadowed the opposition's best wingers, he had a knack for scoring goals at the most critical times. Despite not being the starter on many games, he's a MU Legend.

Sir Alex Ferguson, GOAT. To stay at a club for so long whilst still being successful is not easy. Continuously adapting his playing still and adapting to new playimg styles from oppositions.

Jisung Park: the first and only defensive winger

My favourite thing about this team was their determination. They played like their lives depended on winning.

Pique still played for United in 07/08 season and he actually scored two goals in this Champions League campaign

Pique was still part of the squad. But mostly bench player.

I will never forget a goal that went lighting fast from Evra to Saha to Ronaldo, the length of the pitch in like 5 seconds. Thrilling!

I know the 99 treble team is the most accomplished but I think the 2008 side had most skill. Vds was a world class keeper, vidic and Ferdinand was the best defensive partnership. Evra and brown worked tremendously hard at full back. Scholes and carrick absolutely controlled games in the middle of the park. Giggs bought experience and technique, Nani has all the flair in the world, park was an engine that could mark/press anyone for 90 mins. Hargreaves was very good wide midfielder. Then you had the best front 3 in British history. Tevez, Rooney and ronaldo could all rotate, play up top and on the wings. Tevez was a great pocher. Rooney was England’s golden boy and could play on the wing or though the middle. Finally ronaldo was simply extraordinary that year, he became the best in the world and scored pretty much every match.

Evra, Ferdinand and Vedic 🔥 Giggs, Carrick and Scholes 🔥Ronaldo (still flying up the wing or making diagonal runs), Tevez and Rooney🔥 and then for a minute Berbatov. So much fun, and playing against those incredible Chelsea and Barcelona sides?! A golden era.

Look how good Ronaldo was, he didn't need Wes Brown to overlap to help offensive position. In the other hand, Giggs and Evra work collaboratively with Rooney comes wide. Defensively, 4 backs are rock-solid with Van der Sar at the goal. Then Scholes with his accurate and brilliant pass could bring in good tempo with make some space. Other than that, look subtitute player like Park, Hagreaves etc did very well for their each role. Lower my hat to this Manchester United team man, how good they really was 🤠🤩😈
Amazing video tho...😲

A video on the 2005 / 2006 Barcelona side would be more than welcome as everyone tends to think only of the Pep Guardiola era understandably as they were outstanding but the 2005/06 squad made more than one dream...

This side was obviously legendary, but it's interesting how close Chelsea came to upstaging them both domestically and continentally.
