Can You Beat ARMS Without Moving? Our challenge today is to take on ARMS's No Move Challenge! Today, we're finding out if ARMS is possible with no left joystick presses, no jumps, and no dashes. In a game so focused around ARMS, so many moves require legs - and we're having none of that! So, if we're to beat Nintendo's ARMS without ever moving, we'll have to only play on the offensive for our punches. Even the developer, who played against the winner of an ARMS tornament (before the game released) had trouble against a camping master mummy.
He used charged ARMS attacks, which attacks from the side to not be countered, but master mummy out healed the chip damage.
Then he tried to come closer (to reduce the reaction time of the opponent) and use a grab to get through the shield, but the opponent instantly countered with a punch.
Because of that I thought master mummy would be meta, but almost nobody plays him.

can you beat splatoon 2 without inking? can you beat Mario tennis aces without hitting the ball? can you beat crash bandicoot Nsane trilogy without spinning? the answer to all of these is no. but you could probably beat dk tropical freeze without touching any bannanas

You did that on level 7?! That's impressive! I've never played Punch Out, but I've played ARMS, and Level 7 is TOUGH, even *with* moving.

I've really loved this game from when it came out and played it a lot over the past few years, its nice to see some potential resurgence and new attention. Its still got a competitive scene going strong with the core community but it can be a drag when you cant find any games online at times. Here's hope to some new attention to a game i really fell in love with. And for the first time i actually had the knowledge to know the answer to a question posed in one of your "can you beat *game* without *important mechanic*" videos right off the bat :D

I find it funny how Twintelle not only is one of the few characters that doesn't use her arms to fight, but she's also the only character with actual arms.
