I thought the CGI for Eleven was absolutely necessary for telling the story in the most compelling way possible. It removed any reason for us to be distracted by thoughts of “eh that’s super close but no cigar” since we already know very well exactly what young El looks like from S1

I love how they never officially name any of the beasts and monsters from the upside down. We just go based off what Dustin likens them to in D&D and that's just what they're called moving forward

The reason Eddie is playing his guitar is because it is Nancy’s favorite song. Which robin knows because early in the season robin was snooping around Nancy’s room and found her cassette tapes

My theory for Eddie playing his guitar in the upside down is to distract the demo bats. Bats use echolocation and are attracted to high frequencies. (Loud guitar riffs) The bats were protecting the portals and swarming the creels house. They need to distract the bats to easily navigate through the upside down to fight Vecna… just a thought.

The shot of lucas might actually be jason going to take his revenge and in another scene he was scared out of his mind, maybe vecna killed jason and used chrissy to taunt him

I think the “white flag” on robins back is actually a rag in a Molotov bottle because we know the monsters in the upside down are vulnerable to fire

I feel like they hinted as Nancy’s “favorite song” earlier when Robin picked up her music box in her room. A little foreshadow moment. I also saw another YouTube review with this same theory.

Since Nancy is there and we haven’t seen them get those weapons in volume one yet, that means she gets out of Vecna curse somehow. So at least she’s not going to die there.

The scene of eleven getting thrown against a wall might actually be at the snowball. There were some leaked photos of her in the same outfit in a set that appeared to be the snowball.

I thought they were setting up Eddie to die heroically as he keeps saying about how he's no hero and runs from trouble. But the actor said in an interview that he hopes to work with Johnathans actor in season 5 so hopefully it means he survives. Now I'm thinking Max will die as she still has all those letters she handed out that haven't been read. I'm worried Steve will die too as a resolution to the love triangle with John and Nancy.

Eleven's battle with Henry gives completely new meaning and context to her line in Season 1 where she laments that she caused all of this.

Robin does have weapons in those clips of them in the upside down, the “white flag” is the rag in a molotov cocktail and in the clip of them walking looking badass you can see a red rag sticking out of her backpack—another molotov

I think Lucas is going to get into Vecna's trance. In some of the stranger things season 4 behind the scenes clips, Caleb is talking to Gaten and Gaten asks "did they make you wear contacts?" and Caleb continues to say yes and how it irritated his eyes. I am almost positive he is going to be Vecna's next victim. The clip I am referring to was on Stranger Things' facebook page and it was talking about how all the characters got ready for the show and went hour by hour of what it looks like in a day.
Edit: just watched volume 2 and boy was I wrong. That ending was something else 😭

I'm so nervous and excited for Vol 2, especially Eddie's solo! And I didn't mind the CGI young Eleven, I think the uncanniness fit the mood.

The shot where Mike's Mom is scared and protecting her daughter is probably because of the other people of the town searching for the hellfire club and ending up at their house. I also Think That these people will find the portal where Fred died and get killed which is vital because if most of the town ends up dying then the main characters will move away from Hawkins in the end and then Hawkins would simply not exist

I think the shot of Nancy and Steve trying to free Robin comes shortly after the shot of the three of them turning around looking shocked in the doorway of the Creel house. I imagine some of Vecna's tentacle things came out at that moment and grabbed onto Robin, pinning her against the wall and forcing Nancy and Steve to come back inside and rescue her. The reason I say *back* inside is because in the first shot, it seems like they're walking out of the house.
