Distance is the addition of the two kilometers i.e distance is actually 14km. Displacement is the shortest distance btw two points according to new school physics and mastering physics and revealed physics and even my calculations in physics sir please recheck it

I like your class it helps a lot but I think displacement is a vector which is synonymous to NE as resultant motions which is 10km while total distance which is purely scalar is 14km. 100 divide by 3600 is 0.0278 against your student response as 0.278
