Grocery fired chicken is a pretty decent way to save. I think jewel has a cheap chicken deal day where you get a whole fried or grilled bird for like 5 to 7 bucks. If you’ve got stuff around for sides, it’s a real quick way to get dinner for the next few days.

For a while I basically lived off Publix meals. The fried chicken or tenders are always great with a side of the macaroni salad. The sushi is honestly pretty damn great as well.

Any pub chicken I've had, has been amazing ! Never ever dry. I guess it matters what Publix u go too. And the pub subs are the absolute best!

The Publix deli and bakery are very, very good. The deli sells Boars Head cold cuts and fantastic sub rolls. Their fried chicken is excellent and if you want to make it at home, Publix will sell you their breading mix. That being said, it is an expensive grocery store. I mostly shop at Wal Mart and Win Dixie for their BOGO specials, but I will go to Publix for fresh bread. It's way better than all of the other grocery stores but get first thing in the morning before they put it in plastic bags and the crust gets soft.

I used to live in Florida I loved going to Publix for lunch. The fried chicken is really good not bad for grocery store fried chicken, but it’s the subs is where it’s at!
