Looking for insights from those who transitioned from Digital Ocean/Cloudways to Azure: What was the migration process like, and how do you find the maintenance workload of unmanaged Azure hosting versus managed hosting?

It's enjoyable to see the fantastic way to set up WordPress in Azure in just some clicks, apart from the same can you elaborate on how to use my already taken custom domain and is SSL will be automatically applied on the same?

I tried wordpress on App Service. It was a terrible experience. The website was way too slow.

cool. Can you please give a detailed tutorial on how to set up our WordPress code for development and then directly deploy changes on app service by using Azure App Service Plugin in VS Code and also set up a repository on DevOps to manage old code versions. We also want to use the deployment pipeline to deploy changes.

As an European i'm asking myself if a Website hosted on Azure App Service with Microsoft CDN is GDPR compliant. May you tell us what's about this topic and how to reach 100% European GDPR accordance?

Many years ago (around 2018) we put a company wordpress site on a Azure web app (it was still in preview), and it was very slow resources should have been sufficient. And around that time I attended a Wordpress meetup where Wordpress on Azure was laughed at. Has the performance improved the last years?
