Bruno Catalano’s iconic “Travellers” sculptures are making their debut in New York! From May 2024 to May 2025, nine monumental artworks will be exhibited on Park Avenue, specifically between 34th and 38th Street1. This event marks the first time these emblematic sculptures are displayed in New York, offering a unique artistic experience in the heart of the city.
In addition, Galeries Bartoux is hosting a solo exhibition titled “Travel to New York” from May 18 to June 18, 2024, at their new SoHo location. The exhibition will feature Bruno Catalano’s recent bronze and marble sculptures, along with clothes and luggage from the sculptor’s studio, providing an immersive experience into the world of the "Traveller’s Cloakroom"
The opening of the exhibition will be celebrated on May 18th at 4 pm on Park Avenue at 38th Street, in the presence of the artist and the Bartoux family. There will also be a choreographed performance by Jade Janisset and her company C-Jay Art1. It’s a fantastic opportunity for art enthusiasts and the public to engage with Catalano’s work up close.
