In this episode we launch our new series 'Specs & Stories' S1.E1. features Austin Cupp's 1969 GMC Pickup. Austin's great grandfather bought this truck brand new In 1969 at Horton Chevrolet in Paragould AR. His great grandfather became ill in 1972 and the truck got parked in a cotton gin barn in Walcott AR and didn't get touched again until Austin, his dad, and his grandfather drug it home in 2010. The 3 of them completly restored this truck in 1 year and 9 days, just in time for Austins high school graduation. This truck has a 5.3 LS, TSP 220r camshaft, Magnuson TVS 1900 supercharger, RPM 4l60 trans, 2800 PTC Stall Converter, 12 bolt rear with 3.73 gears and Moser axles, and so much more! We love these sentimental builds and are grateful to have the opportunity to talk with Austin about this piece of his family history! Thank you to Austin & the rest of the Cupp family!
