Low Amplitude Plyometric Options
When introducing Plyometric elements to athletes it’s important to begin at a low level to build capacity and conceptual teaching. In early stages, these options become great to teach pretension and correct postural positions.

Focus is more on vertical force applications than horizontal for with athletes a low training age as this allows for maintaining postural integrity while developing elastic and reactive strength qualities.

These should progress periodically simple to complex. General to specific. Extensive to intensive. Low intensity to high intensity. Slow to fast.

External cueing foot contacts, positions and landings should remain a priority in these early learning stages. These movements remain stationary before progressing linear.
