Vampires may not exist but strigois may. Strigois are the Romanian version of a vampire and instead of it being more like a zombie that rises from the dead a strigoi is more like a ghost that hunts its family. A strigoi is most known (in Romania) in the Transylvania region, And most the most haunted place is brann castle or more commonly known as Dracula's castle scary but Dracula isn't real (probably) but Dracula was most likely based on Vlad Dracula the third one of the most brutal Romanian rulers.
I would recommend researching on strigois and vlad Dracula.
