...the term "Bullseye" is derived from the scene in "The Odessy" where Odysseus strings the great hunting bow and makes the shot (with a prayer to Apollo, the god of archers) through the 12 axe heads strung in a row...
...the hole in an axe head, where the handle is inserted, is called the "eye" of the axe head; when you look through the eyes of the axes when they are arranged as described in The Odessy, you will see a series of concentric circles; an image still seen today when you look at an archery target, with the center ring known as "the Bullseye"...
