i can’t blame him for wiggling his finger. i played the guitar since i was a kid and when i learned to play the piano i wiggled the keys as well.. even tho i knew it doesn’t do anything

Im curious; Ive played classical guitar for a number of years (so im used to using vibrato), and I recently started learning keyboard. I find myself wobbling the keys in the exact same way (even if you were doing it for a laugh), knowing it does nothing - im just used to it. Does it do anything on a grand piano, or completely pointless?

I do feel like it allows you to connect more to the piece though, even if it does nothing. Similar to how spamming the A button on the old pokemon games, made it feel like you caught the pokemon faster, even though it did nothing 😅
