So glad you showed how to get the recording to a shortcut button! Those Yaesu guys were on a 3 day drink when they built the menu system in that radio.
I’m a Icom guy and that thing was a confusing mess to learn. Great radio, super audio, stupid menu system.

I’ve heard this from an individual using one and the recording key up sounds stronger than what the actual user sounded like . Not sure why ? Dead key at 100 only w/recording …versus voice dead key at 80 swinging forward maybe a little close to 100 depending on voice and eq in radio ? Hmmm ? Oh did I mention thanks for showing us this as I own one as well .

Thanks for the video, a question I have is, You assigned your voice message at CH1 to the C button on the radio so when you press C it plays, that's cool, however if I go to CW mode would that change to my CW CH1 setting and playback the CW memory instead of the voice memory?
