Let’s Go Thrifting in Florida! Vintage Home Decor & Books

Hi friends! While I was in Jacksonville, Florida last week I hit up some great thrift stores, vintage antiques shops, and the most amazing used book store ever - Chamblin’s Bookmine. In this video I’m sharing some of my thrifting videos and shopping for used books. So come thrift with me at the goodwill and check out my thrift haul! Let’s go thrifting!

Knoxville, TN and Chattanooga, TN have McKay's used book stores. They're nothing like what you went to, but lots of books nonetheless. Many like what you purchased. I used to have that cross stitch book.

Good Wills that I've been to down here in Florida are so much bigger & nicer than the ones where I'm from (small Tennessee town) I've shopped the ones in Orlando area when my son lived there, but now he's down right by Tampa. I haven't been to the ones here yet. I like the Salvation Army stores down this way. Ohhh the big chunky ornate frame was gorgeous❤Ohhh my goodness.. that bookstore is unbelievable😮 I'd definitely need to go at opening time & stay till closing, I'm sure i could get lost easily😁 We leave tomorrow to come back home.. its going to break my heart to leave my son and my precious little granddaughter💔 Thanks for sharing.

Chamberlain is a maze! I always get lost! Next time you are in Jax look for the antiques shops on Park street, specially Southern Crossings!!

Hello from Jacksonville! I'm so glad you had the opportunity to visit Chamblin! It's nearby me & I have been going to it since high school. It's a fun place to explore for a few hours. They even have an event during October called Lights Out where all the lights are turned off & you can hunt for books just using flashlights. Took my sons to that event last year & they really enjoyed it! Anywhooo... thanks for sharing this video of my hometown! 😄

I have the great fortune to live nearby, and CHAMBLINS 🍄 is a National Treasure 😇during Halloween they create a hunted house in the back of the shop ! Super Spooky !🦩👻🎃

Thank you for the bookstore recommendation!!!! When we lived in Shreveport there was an amazing, giant bookstore. 2 levels, beautiful old building. I loved it so much.
