Paul speaks to the Corinthians about a mysterious thorn in the flesh that Satan sent to plague him. What was it? Should we even know? What benefit is this passage to us?

Very nicely said, I found your talk very encouraging. I wish the congregation that I attended forty years ago had a loving shepherd like you. May our loving father Jehovah bless you.

Oh my... 🙆🏻‍♀️🙏🏻♥️ Thank you, Lord...🙏🏻 ... for giving this to Eric to pass on to us... 🙏🏻 I’ve been asking The Lord for weeks now, to help me with my, “Thorn in the flesh...”... but I realise now, that He’s allowing it because it makes me lean on Him... ♥️He certainly does hear us... ♥️

When we hear the truth from the scriptures explained correctly we understand all the more deeply the riches of Christ. Thankyou brother for a well presented teaching from Paul.

I'm happy with that interpretation regarding Paul's thorn in the flesh, I too wasn't convinced it was bad eyesight, I was only ever a long term bible study with JWs & never felt heard. I always naturally understood it to be a very private, personal battle, the wrestling. I think then we project our own personal predicament into that situation.
I thoroughly relate to your corrected insights into these valuable passages

Each of your video brings into me and my friends fine exquisite joy. This broad explanation makes better sense than the narrowed-down and nonsensical Paul's eyesight suggestions of WT. Great thanks!

Excellent point about being tested so as to being proved ready for a work requiring great responsibility. Wonderful though from the Scripture in Colossians 3:1-4. Very good video, very up-building, thank you.

I also believe that a thorn in the flesh could be something to keep you humble. Paul had such a close walk with God & so many of his prayers answered that he could have become prideful.

This is good advice and encouragement for every day to keep in the path and for keep believing and doing what's right even when we are weak because we must have faith and know that if Jesus is on our side then we are strong even if we sometimes do not see it. Thank you may you receive many blessings from Jehovah.

Thank you Eric, I really enjoyed this subject and learned from it. I hadn't watched for quite a while because I am personally not interested in subjects regarding the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses. I am all interested in subjects directly relating to the Bible, and this one was done beautifully and respectfully!
